FRC New Tab: Display Information About a Random FRC Team
FRC New Tab is a Chrome add-on developed by Erik Boesen that enhances your new tab page by displaying information about a random FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team. With this add-on, you can stay connected to the FRC community and learn more about different teams.
The main feature of FRC New Tab is the ability to customize the list of teams from which a random one is chosen. This allows you to focus on specific teams that you are interested in or keep it permanently on one team. Additionally, the add-on offers a Clock Mode, where the team displayed corresponds to the current time. This is a unique and fun way to discover new FRC teams throughout the day.
You also have the option to hide or show the team location and/or name, giving you control over the level of information displayed. The add-on is continuously being improved, with more features expected in the future.
